of course must be Soooo high standard brader....or else we can never find pure strains in the future. this is a stand between the purist and the rojak boys...and besides ...if one has to spend time and money to keep a cichlid might as well get the best, not point going for rojaks.....just look at the flowerhorn boys...a rm8,888.88 super red highfin monster kok flowerhorn 5 years ago is a rm 30 fish now.

we dun set the standard ....we just follow as closely as we can to the book.

as u say outcrossing...but with wat? wild fishes?..or local breds?...since the flowerhorn story, i Dare Not take any chance with local breeds..who knows somewhere down the line they have kingkong parrot genes...

and whats the standard of a pure strain midas..? how do u know if that fish u are toking about is a pure strain. its hard to tell , so better i dun touch such fish. its truly a shame actually, and the same story goes to the Trimacus...who dare to touch a trimacus nowdays? even if its a pure strain , people would still suspect its not...

the flowerhorn's rise is the midas and trimacus downfall and now we have a trio in the pits.

yup , brader i kenot afford hikari lar...coz i found a better pellet..hehehe
