Aged water simply means filling a bucket, pail, large tong with tap water and leave it alone. After a couple of days, there will be no chlorine in the water. A faster way is to add an air pump to agitate the water. Chlorine goes off faster.

How much is enough? The next time you change water, siphon the tank out into a large pail. Once you have siphoned enough, that's how much you will need to fill up the tank. Collect aged water 2x, 3x or 4x the amount.
