Question How many?

How many fish do you have in your aquarium and what type of fish are they. Did you mention goldfish? I believe that the goldfish would have had a much larger probability of breeding than your puffers. I have no experience with puffers and I am to set up a new tank in a few weeks with just pygmy puffers in. Anywho I have had experience in breeding. Were the eggs on: 1) The substrate 2) a fine-leafed plant 3) a normal plant 4) a rock or ornament 5) all of the mentioned?
What size are your puffers?
Most fish bar livebearers (guppies/platies/mollies) do eat both their eggs and their fry once hatched. I would recomend keeping your eggs on a cutting of a fine-leafed plant in a maturity chamber ( small plastic seethrough box / net ). You should proceed to feed the fry, once hatched, with a mixture of crushed flake food (possibly - im not sure about puffers) / baby brine shrimp or egg yolk.
