I'm new here, so i hope you all dont mind if i do anything dumb.

I've had my guppies for about a month and a half now and when i bought them, 4 were pregnant. i did what commercial singaporean breeders do: i placed palm leaves in the tank to provide refuge for the young. this enabled 9 of the 11 young to survive to their age (about 3 weeks). at about two and a half weeks, they were no longer harssed by the adults and were able to swim out into the open no problems.
