aiya brader...complicated problems doesnt mean must have complicated solutions.
infact this method is so easy, many never thought about it. the timer controls the pump, its the same timer that control the lighting...the lights goes off, so the pump also stop.
once the pump stops, the pressure from the co2 will push out the water from the bottle(reactor)....right?...but if you put that bottle 3 to 4inch inch deep into your tank, the water pressure from 3 to 4 inch of depth will stop the co2 from slipping out during the night hours.
pressure will build up during the night but not enough to push all the water out from the reactor...so no chance for co2 to escape during the night. once your pumps turns on in the morning, you will have a steady supply of co2 for the day's work.
