You've any picture?

what is the size of your tank?

Here how to calculate the (volume) litre

Volume = ( Length (cm) x Width (cm) x Height (cm) )

Litre = Volume / 1000

After you've blend everything inside, do a water test don't put in any fish.
Check the PH, NO2, KH, and Salinity within 1.02 - 1.023

What kind of salt you buy? Sea Chem, Kent marine, ocean free, dolphin there are certain salt containing nutrients tat the shrimp need.

Looks like u r using the canister? make sure u put good quality bio ring, bio balls, and filtration materials. Some people will remove the carbon and replace wiv bio material. Also add some micro backteria inside your canister, you can try adding JBL Denitrol. I recommend you put JBL filtration product, though it is expensive but it is 5 or 6 times more solid and outlast compare to the cheap mass production one from China.

Once water quality is good, then only consider adding some livestock in it.

It's all depend on your budget. If you've a budget you can find a chiller cost around RM 900 - RM 1200, wiv the chiller you can add corals.

Well, for start don't spend so much, familiarize urself wiv fish and water quality then only work forward for those.

For good quality lighting normally people will put Metal Hydrite, but it will warm up the water very fast, some will put T5 lighting, and for me i put ADA Aqua Design Amano NA-Lamp.

I'm using OceanFree becos it can accomdate 2 tube.

Lighting is very very important to ensure your fish color is pretty.

There's JBL lighting, which cost around RM 1xx but these are very good and bright aquarine light.
