If ur nano tank are meant for fish then a decent 15W sun bright from Nirox will do the job. Or, you prefer ADA NA-Lamp which is 3 times compare to Nirox.
If ur nano tank are meant for coral, T5 and Metal Halide are preferred, but the electricity consumption is pretty high, also it tend to raise the water temperature. You might need to offset that with a chiller cost between RM 900 to RM 1,200.
Normally nano tank no ppl. will put those, a normal Ocean Free light balast will do the job. My tank is 1.5 ft I'm using a 2 ft adjustable Ocean Free light, i replaced the bulb inside with ADA NA Lamp, and Nirox Moon Bright, my fishes enjoy it.
This light is very nice if i switch both, 15 W + 15 W = 30 W
Without lighting, there is less fish activity, everything looks dull for the fish.
