Blue lobsters (they're actually crayfish) are hardy and very easy to care for and act as scavengers in your tank, picking up uneaten food at the bottom of your tank. Unfortunately they will also eat small, slow-moving or dead fish in your tank. If you have a planted tank, your plants will suffer from the crayfish's constant pruning, digging and unearthing.

I personally had a red crayfish and it was very, very interesting to watch! Unfortunately I spent everyday picking out leaves from my java fern floating in the tank.

Do a Google search on the care and you should know what you're getting into. I personally don't recommend it if you have a planted tank. Fyi, you can find the blue crayfish for RM2.50 and the red crayfish for RM5 if you look around. I saw the cheapest in Kepong.
