hi guys... i'm no expert in digi cams but i think it's not the brand... it's the macro function keatpek mentioned. i take it when u guys say much clearer as in his plants picture are more 'detailed' and 'zoom in' without blurring. u can achieve that if ur camera have a macro function or a macro filter. it's function is to take small pix in detail... just my 2 cents
