ur statement is quite different from what i hv learnt from many frontosa forum, i hv seen many setup with mix of the size from 1 year old to 10 years old frontosa, the are doing very well in a colony.
to me, f1 and f0 is very important, cause f0 parents can guarantee produce with pure lineage of f1 generation, can make some profit after sell them off to reduce the spending on the hobby.

the friend i mentioned above do keep a colony of kigoma, and just to let u know that kigoma is not that high price, almost same as burundi.
