bro ari already helped explain mostly about the filteration, but his setup is too professional and i see it as "crazy" i wish i can hv one of those sump tank.

if u insist for a frontosa tank, u should get a tank at least 5ft and above, 6x2.5x2.5 is recommended, the best filteration for all this giant tank is to use sump tank, the bigger the sump tank with more partitions, the better the result.

now comes to the fish part, to me i dun enjoy to see a group of adult burundi swimming in the tank, they just dun hv any coloration, basically just black and white, strange thing is they hv more blue color during the juv stage. pls make a rite choice of the frontosa u r getting, they can be kept more than 15 years. if u like the kok like flowerhorn, then burundi is ur choice.

some good photo gallery of frontosa, mostly the zaire pics:
check out the below link and go to the photo gallery section, they hv tons of nice pics of frontosa setup.

the best tankmate for frontosa is comp/calvus, of course u can add some other african cichlid like malawi cichlid, just carefully choose those non agressive cichlid.
