a shovelnose is gonna grow very big ...and i do mean big..and i m afraid your geophagus, darts and rays will be come his meal. this is no joke my friend ...i ve lost fishes thats twice the size of the shovelnose s mouth. yes..go for the shovelnose ...they are very very attractive, but u have to get your set up right. anything smaller than him is a no no...and then of course how big is your shovelnose?..a juvenile shovelnose would be killed by an oscar any day. i suggest u do a professional set up with shovelnose only...and u could keep 2 to 3 of those cats. they do look good in packs especially during feeding time. festivum is a nice community fish ...but all that will change once they are in breeding mood..they will kill any other tank mates who come close to their nest. they are best kept alone if they have paired off...with lots of amazon sword plant...and watch how their colour transform during breeding...good choice..festivum. i ve caught pacus that weights around 5 to 9 kilos...that shows how big they will get. if your pacus are small...then they will do okay with the oscars, parrots in your 150gallon tank. if intend to keep geophagus...soft sand bottom is a must. they like to shiff the sand about...thats how they find their food. many aquarist have kept them with larger gravel, and if u notice in such set up, the geophagus usally have brusies around their lips and mouth. try not to keep too many species all at once ...take your take and enjoy your fish one at a time.
