safe to keep a couple?
i have had dis 1 albino angelfish for like 5 6 months d(around 3 1/2 to 4 inches long)...along wf lotsa other fish like betta gourami oscars neons cardinals(its very non dominant from wat iv seen).....gave away all now left wf a skool of cardinals and da albino...want to get another angel....but is it safe to pair 2 angels....read in few sites dat shud keep more dan 3...but da guy at a lfs says can keep wf no probs...so is it ok if i get a young angel....wont harm da present one will it?
PS : newan has ne idea wer to get black velvet angels....da ss19 shop got ah?

angels are nasty towards each other. there's a pecking order to be observed...like all animals...if your tank is big enough and there's enough food...shouldn't be a problem unless the size difference is great. then again it also depends on the chemistry of the bigger and smaller fish...
black velvet angelfish is quite common. maybe i'm wrong...

stan...so then its ok if i get another angel? i heard if u raise them from da time der young dey r less agressive towards other tankmates...is dat true...btw....havent seen ne black velvets so far man.....n pilak...no offence mate but mayb its just dat ur so used to malaysian apek talk dat u dunt get proper english wen u c it...

thanx mate...but still not sure whether i can keep another angel wf my angel altho hes not very dominant im scared the new angel will bully him..

hi prvn,
for twenty gallon tank is too small for angels, max you can have is two as they grow big. palm size or more...unless they are stunted... if you decide to buy a partner, try to get same size fish... you can try the contact pilik palak aka leong has posted as he's in the fish trade. [i'm just ke poh]
