i have an aquarium roughly 5ft long 12" wide 18" high (about 52 gallons)
i have 1 red tailed black shark 2 red rainbow 1 plecco 1 marble angel i love angelfish and i whant to add 5 more angels but i am fearfull of the consequences of the angel i have beating up on the newely introduced ones wich will be younger and smaller. i also wish to add 4 more red rainbow. does anyone have any tips to introduce them or is this a bad idea. your help would be much appreciated...... many thanks mark |

hi mark,
not a prob, ...quarantine your new angel fish in a bucket[medicate or 2-3ppm salt]...then swap places with the big angel into the bucket[normal clean water] for a day or two. this makes the older bigger angel the new boy in the tank. any quarrel later on will just be adjustment of the pecking order... angels won't bother the red rainbows from xp.
