Rgds,
Joo

Hi....I do have a few red lotus- manage to wrestle some from Ah Heng at Mid Valley last October (yes..THE show tank). I may be able to part with a couple of them. How 'bout N stellata? Got these from a river (or was it an agro waterway?) in Kota Bharu (my hometown). If the flood did not wash them away, they should be there. By the way, do you happen to have any Crypt? Does anybody out there stock any surplus Crypt?

Thanks but my original red lotus had send out a few baby lotus for me already. I got stellata. What sort of crypt you want? I got 6-7 species and some of them propagate like rabbits. I have to throw them out or fed to my turtles and apple snails. At the moment i have no surplus as my breeding snails require lots of plants for food.

Nothing particular really. I'll take anything available. Some C wendtii for foreground maybe. Some larger specimens for the back. Can we make some arrangement on this. A day or two journey won't hurt, I guess.

Thanks.

zazuarz,

I can mail you some of the crypts but not sure if they can survive the journey as they melt very easily.

So, are those Crypt still available? Need them badly ... Actually I found some plants in a small creek few weeks back. I've browse the net and some books for identification, but nothing seems to fits in. My guess is a Crypt. It has earthy coloured, ovate-shaped leaves with dark red underneath.Under bright light in the aquarium the colour tends to be lighter with some dark stripes. 6-7 cm tall. Definitely not a marginal plant, cause I found them submerged. The water level in that stream was low then. Any idea?

p/s Is the personal messaging system working?

My crypts still haven't send out runners yet since i last pull out all the plantlets. You can post the pic here so that the plant can be identified. Go to this site to identify your plant if it is a crypt or not.

The PM system should be working.

Any plants up for trade? I found a stream full of C affinis and Blyxa in Dungun (some 90 km from KT). Brought back some for a friend. Anybody interested? In Pasir Puteh, Kelantan there is a place where you can get C cordata (a bit trickier to grow in tank than C affinis).
