Exclamation Siamese algae eater
CTY is having stock of siamese algea eater right now. This is not the notorious chinese algae eater but the real thing. Beware that it will jump out of the bucket when frightened. Their otocinclus is no more but still have some algae eating shrimps left.

After careful checking, it looks more like false siamensis than sae as it has light strip over the dark band. This was not obvious when in the tank under stressful condition.

yes, you're right. What CTY selling is the flase one.
I got six and now don't know what to do with them. Once they were
in your thank, it is quite hard to get them out.

Any idea how to catch them?

Right now they are not harming other fish and even school together. I'm leaving them alone for now. I got 5, yes, 5 and can't believe I fell for that. Have you taken a look into CTY tank if any among them are real sae?

I believe none of them are real. Beware of these false SAE! Mine getting bigger and bigger and one of them even look like a sumarine! Although at this moment they don't attack other smaller fish, their active behaviour seems to annoy others. Your fish food will never fulfil their big appetite

Guys,
I bought real SAE at Jalan Raja Uda butterworth about 3 week ago. Right now out of stock already.
I don't know whether you guys still interested for SAE or not, but if you do, just PM me you contact no. So i can inform you when SAE available.

ya...am looking for 2 baby SAEs as well...but in PJ la...went looking ard for it yest but to no avail. Havent tried Irene, Ikano n Tmn Megah but I think they usually have.

I saw some true SAEs at Pet Family yesterday, but they're slightly bigger than the baby ones.

thks OD. bought 2 slightly bigger than baby SAEs from Rock East at D'sara yest. RM2 each. They're now in my 2 footer together with 2 otos.
