Default Pictures from Farm

Hi Fellow members,

On my last visit to my friend's aquarium plants farm in Ipoh, I took some pictures as remembrance and I thought I would share this with you. The farm will be closing down anytime now as the land that it sits on has been planned for development. Tractors will be mowing down the place soon.

I did brought home some of the nice flowering emerse plants to keep and to share with some members.

here's some pictures of emerse plants. Due to limited time, I'll post more when i have the time later. Guess what is the plant in the 2263 picture?

Aiyah..u know already cuz I gave you one!!

Btw...I just went to MOX Jln 222 to refill....they accepted my tank but need to repaint and use scope to check. All in all cheaper than refilling in 88. Next time I only need to pay for the refill. A particular fella is very helpful, the others won't accept our "non-standard" tanks. Asked for Loges if you are going to Jln 222 branch.

Here's more pictures.

2282: farm at a glance

2280: the owner on the left and my friend on the right

2275: Windelov and crypt ciliata(That's the one u have Dom) growing together

2272: I think this is rotala "green".

More pictures later if i manage to convert them to smaller sizes.

Yeah...the owner and daughter only maintained the farm part time only...I was told originally the plants were having its own area....as time goes by...with few hundreds type plants in there...it's hard to maintain them unless you have alot of space and time to keep them. When they sell the plants to the shops...they will first clean and tie them(packaging) before selling, so you won't know how the plants are grown in.

If you really want to arrange the plants nicely, imagine, if you have 100 types of plants (easily), you need 100 cement tanks, unless you export to overseas, otherwise the cost of doing so is not justified.
