Default Crypts

Hi.. just wondering if you guys keep crypts. I (paiseh), done planted tank for so long but have not tried this plant. Recently got influenced a bit (by this forum ) and looking at the plant now.

Just starting a thread because I am trying to see why crypt lovers love crypts. What type of aquarium is benefitial with crypts?

I am beginning to like those emerse setups for crypts in APC. Gosh, I hope this is not another drug that we planted folks take and thereafter will burn a hole in our pockets...

hahaha,

welcome to the club...it's a guy thing. macho looking plant. opposite of girly/auntie plant like elatine triandra, hydrocotyle, etc. the dark green/brown/red plants got wild look and a lot are malaysian... easy to keep in our temps... great if you like local exotic fish...

Default Obtaining Crypts

Any idea who carries the largest selection of crypts these days? Especially the more common and presumably easier to cultivate ones...

I believe Han Yang has got a lot more selections, something like 8-15 types at any one time. XL ones are quite pathetic looking!!!
