er..
LI is as it suggests...no WC. just top up water. watch the plants[and algae!]... dose accordingly. limiting factor is PO4. 2.5WPG[medium range]

so far some algae here and there but nothing more serious than when not around to trim.

Default Dosing/WC

My regime changes based upon which article I read last... however, probably the Lazyman Index is the one which most accurately describes what I do most of the time...

Currently trying EI with KN03, KH2P04 and traces. I can't stand to look at my tank now and I'm seriously considering tearing it down and re-starting

Aren't you missing the K2SO4?

Default K2so4

Nope, K2SO4 is not for the sulphate but for the potassium. If you only use KNO3 and KH2PO4, you cannot add K without adding N or P as well... So if you are K limited or have a K deficiency and you only want to add K, you need something like K2SO4...

My two cents.

Default Where do you get Plantex, KNO3, NaHCO3, K2H2PO4, K2So4, Fe?

Just interested to get some PMDD done from the beginning. Got some BGA (controllable), inherited some thread algae from new plants (my mistake, didnt treat and trim off), very low nitrite, pH 6 (new large drift wood, despite adding baking soda), plants getting yellow; Got the formula but no stuff to put into my 4ft.2ft.2ft tank. Surprise, Congo tetra & Rainbows are very alive and colorful.
Who do you guys get the chemicals from? Cost? Any advice, before I cause an outbreak or kill some fish or plants?
