Yamato shrimp kua? Will take photo when they 'appear'....
I brought them for RM0.40-RM0.60 per ekor.
Am using the Nikon Coolpix 2200. Will try on no flash next time....

Another question wrt riccia:
The growing riccia seems always get loose from the rock/net they are attached to and float to the surface of the water. I am not sure if my technique of attaching them is wrong or what. I cover up the rock with a thin layer of riccia and hold them up with net and tight with fishing line. Is this OK or there is a better way to do so?
Now I have salwaged a lot of growing riccia from the water surface and most of the rocks in my tank havve been attached with riccia.......
My question is:is there anyway to better attach the riccia to a rock/wood/etc? is riccia freed themselves up and float to the water surface normal?

It's very normal for riccia to float after awhile, as when it grows longer, the bottom riccia gets inadequate light, hence, the bottom ones will slowly died off, so the top ones will float...
If you want to prevent this from happening, trim them frequently, so that the bottom riccia gets light.

What net are you using? normal net or steel/plastic netting?
I'm using those old washing machine net, recycling...hehehe
what i do is tie the net with a rubber band at the bottom. So when they grow longer, taking out that time looks like a bouquet of flower
haha

And where did you get your yamato shrimps? so cheap?
