your ph looks ok in relation to kh. so co2 prob is not the issue IMO.

so i'd pin it on the flora pride...what's in it or rather what's not in it.

GSA is po4 deficiency. hair algae is usually a secondary problem which i'm not too sure... there's many kinds. comes with plants then never wanna leave. manually remove.

brown algae is normally excess diatoms. get some otos to eat it...

The algae is relatively easy to remove manually and even 'pearls' (it gets some direct sunlight in the morning).

Initially had green water in the tank for a couple of weeks but it suddenly disappeared one fine day and has not returned.
this is beard algae...looks like beard. yuck... read somewhere use h2o2 4% to kill it after removing clumps out.

Default staghorn algae... another type?

Found these pesky things perpetually hanging out with my riccia and java moss. Comparing with the picture by Ruslan, my staghorns look different or is this a mistaken identity? I currently do manual removals.

i think is not algae.... maybe is a type of aquatic plant. i got this too....grow among riccia and i just let it stay, IMO it does not harm to riccia. if wan remove it....just pull it out.

my fren even use this "plant" as spawning substrate

IINM[if i'm not mistaken] it's a form of utricularia. comes often with riccia. a pest that easily taken out. compared to hair algae or BBA.

Thanks for the ID. Weird things is, it's kinda fun to remove it. Maybe 'coz it's easy to pull out. Keeps me occupied for a while ha ha.

Yeah those are utricularia sp alrite. Once i had tonnes of them and spend couple of months just trying to untangle them from my erect moss. It came with another of my utricularia sp , ie chendol/dragon claw!
