I have the exact same algae as medowance... really annoying. I believe it's staghorn.

From the descriptions available on the internet, it's either staghorn or cladophora. Staghorn is lighter in color and the 'stem' is thicker at the base. However, looking at the pictures again, it looks to be more like be staghorn instead of cladophora which I initially said...

Even Tom Barr has no solution for cladophora...

Seems nerite snails or Neritina natalensis eat this... haven't tried it yet. I saw some for sale at AI. Whether they'll survive my loaches is one thing...
