Where did you get that?

If I am not mistaken, I've seen it being cultivated the same way as Java moss is, tied to branches.

What I see may be different specimen from this though. Does it have roots? If it has, definately not the moss I'm talking about. Nope nope.

It is a kind of fern. May be is Selaginella species. Can culture in water. But, not for long term.

just try some submerged...
there are so many types and their emersed form can be confusing...

Can be found in many forested areas like FRIM and Bkt Cherakah. Tried planting them submersed but didnt survive, probably just lay there for couple of months without any new growth and then starts breaking up in pieces, ie branch by branch it will float up!

Kept them before. They are not able to grow submersed. But will stay submersed for weeks only. Then melt off.

i found this a lot in botanical garden penang
took some home.....thought can grow submerse but it turn brown even at 24c


i found them emerse on rock far away from water source but in very cool shaded area

This plant posted by Ruslan I think last time I collected with Dom...like he said...after some time it will turn yellow and die off altho it is found near water.
