Default Wire Mesh..
Hi just want to enquire where can i get the wire mesh LFS ususally plant their foreground plants like riccia/moss? Are those mesh stainless steel?thanks in advance!

Can check out LHS (local hardware shops). My lfs gave me some extras - plastic ones. Green colour tho and needs to be weigh down with stones or sand.

Make sure you get stainless ones... otherwise you will probably have Fe overdose of the wrong kind soon... They are quite pricey though... I think something like RM 20 for a foot of mesh. That's quite a lot for our purposes since it is at least 3 feet wide.

glass strips work well from xp. cheap too. just beware of anaerobic conditions underneath. same for mesh...

bro go to any glass cutter shop and ask them to cut you strips...ask them to file the edges so that it's not sharp. size up to you. 2" by 4" or whatever so you can fill up your fg. safe thickness is like 4-6mm. HTH.
