hmm... have u tried with the wood one?ppl said the bubbles produced are small too. but i don;t know how small compared to ceramic diffuser.
how about u buy a 9 bucks ceramic diffuser (same like ADA diffuser but rounder, bigger), then, carefully break the glass tube at the bottom. surely there will be jagged glass at the breaking point (sound like smthing else hehe...), again, carefully use a filer to file it even. 9 bucks only compared to others.... worth a try for me.... if the diffuser breaks, pecah habis, then buy new one lor... rm9 only mah..

Here's my reactor. Hooked up inline to the output of my canister. Note that it's actually turned upside-down to increase contact time between the C02 bubbles and the water.
Now to add a diffussor in there.

This reactor is not meant to be used in-line. You will need to seal the segments properly (I see some sealant) if you wish to use it in-line to ensure that there will not be any flooding.
