Hmmm.....injecting fine co2 bubbles into a co2 reactor, to increase the reactor efficiency? Sounds doable..........
But second thought, the fine co2 bubbles from the diffusor will still be trapped at the top of the reactor (if the air does not dissolve into the water fast enough). Thirdly, can you share with us how to insert a tube/diffusor into a co2 reactor. Thanks, bro.

it's not really a venturi as the hole is so big. no pix of it but it's ok now... not perfect but...working.

Guys, this is another reactor. i suppose nathan is trying something like this too:
http://www.qsl.net/w2wdx/aquaria/diyco2.html (page size is a bit big) but i wonder where does the excessive air escapes? through the eheim sponge below? still cant make out where it goes since no hole unlike TB venturi's.

The reactor I have is this one - without the separating discs but with bioballs. Easily available at most LFS.
Instead of putting the unit inside the aquarium, I am running it inline with my canister, placing it outside the tank. I only have a 2.5ft tank so equipment in the tank is a big deal with me. Quote:
I'm actually looking for something very similar to this: Of course not exactly this lah cos I can't afford it. See that the C02 intake is at the bottom? Now, I want to place this diffusor inside the reactor.Basically, here's what I'm trying to do: ![]() Right now, I'm having the almost exact thing, except without that diffusor.
