Arghh...sounds like I missed out on quite a lot fun in here already...
GG...IMO, if you are not planning to breed shrimps in there...you shud get bigger fishes rather than the smaller tetras. Rasboras are good, the bigger ones. Btw, 22-24C... alot of fishes may get ich (white spot)! nice tank btw....actually you shud really settle on one setup and try to grow some foreground plants for once lah...like tennelus etc. I think a nice foreground would make your setup have a diff feel to it rather than like a plug and play setup (nana, java ferns, no moss, plain driftwood...get it?). There's no "aging" factor to it.

Dunno where is my balansae already....covered by valis already...lazy to go and dig.
Wait till your tennelus can grow into a lawn then only talk lah. Then use "bluish" (>1000K) light to shine until turn pink. Last i saw YT got long balansae, ask him if he can source again or not lah. Back home I have some emersed balansae lah, no long ones for sale.

[doan sms me and expect me to give straight reply to 4 or 5 sms in a row when i'm trying to have dinner! an exemplary show of politeness is to call the person as to not burden the other person whom you are asking for advice to reply and pay for the sms'...] you can try more cardinals and cories...wonder kev still got pygmaeus. those will add texture to your tank...and stay at different levels. rummy noses are friends with them mixing them with cardinals is ok in my opinion.

you can be the exception.
actually NT's are relatively weak compared to cardinals. plus not as nice- my opinion.
