Some shoaling fish I bought don't school/shoal together and some do.. I dunno why. I notice that one batch of harlequins i bought from one LFS will only shoal with harlequins from the same lfs...

Well shoaling is a defensive mechanism for small fish to confuse and escape from predators... want to make your fish shoal for sure? Put in a flower horn heheh.

hahah... no la... not kena screwed by stan only courteous...
but kena from him made me learn something new.... something i didn't know all these while till last few days....

coz ppl always misunderstand on what im trying to say...
maybe because words dont have a tone....

if i want to, i can just be as usual without caring whether u guys like what i say or not... i also dont need to care bout what others got to say....

i've got my own life and everyone here does not make a diff to me...
not that i have to rely on you guys to live...
(been thinking how to put this in a good way for a while but i can't)

courteous = i respect you and appreciate your help....
if i dont, i won't even reply after u gave me the advise...

there's a lot of ppl who acted this way....

that is also because i dont know u that well.....
hehehe... i dont even know how u look like...
all i know u always answer my question and tried to help as you could...

if i know you well, i won't be so courteous... i mean, since we know each other well, no need so "hak-hei" lor...

i believe this is something practised by human beings around the world...

hope u get what i mean so u wont misunderstand ....

GG,

No worries man. Either way I'm ok, anyway, I'm always misunderstood also.

Thanks for your offer to help. I have not decided what fish to get for my tank too, will probably drop by myself to see and decide.

hi gg,
the rocks are fine but you really need to get itchy fingers out of tank and let things grow...

fyi. i don't agree with placement of the rubin but time will tell....

Tank is better looking now with the midas touch done by Stan and yourself. Looks like you know your foreground is the weakness now(too bare). You said it yourself, using lava rocks tied with mosses and arranged in the foreground might work for your tank but it can be a pain to trim the moss foreground when your tank is so deep. Plant something that requires less trimming and maintenance in the foreground if you are thinking about long term. Maybe "long term" is not in your dictionary. Hahahahahha

You really need to get rid of the itchy hand syndrome. Before the tennelus gets to root in and show its full potential...they are gone from the last pic. Maybe my eyes are playing a trick but they are certainly not there anymore when i checked.

Aquascaping is not like flower arranging when those are cut flower you just arrange them into a bouquet. In certain ways, yes, it is like arranging a bouquet, but Aquascaping has progressed now to replicating the nature's aquarium. You are not going to get a nature's aquarium by re-arranging your tank so frequently(major revamps). Aquascaping needs time for the plants to grow and settle in before it turns into a NATURE's Aquarium which means it is like a piece of nature in your tank.

Just my own unsolicited comments. Hah.
