Nymphaea rubra sp if i'm not mistaken... the freckles are not seen in the common Nymphaea rubra

easy to keep in mid to high light +co2, yes it gets pretty big...almost all lotus do...2 feet or more.

I haven't check yet but it does not look like Nymphaea rubra to me. Nymphaea rubra leaf is dark red on the side and bright red to pink in the centre with dark red frackels. They dont have any green at all.

the green is because the leaves have holes in them frankie and as mentioned i think it's something new as rubra has almost magenta leaves without any freckles...examined it closely at yt's the other day.
common tiger lotus has freckles but not this shape leaf and not so light coloured. my guess it's a hybrid of queen of siam and rubra.
