But amazingly a lot of people here interested in fish only tank like keeping single arowana, flowerhorn etc, marine tank and koi pond too. So, a lot of 'house call' maintenance jobs, people either too busy to maintain or just too lazy, ...err lazy to learn how to maintain themselves, IMHO.

Anyway, here is the map of the shop location taken from the back of their business card. The shop, Natural Plant have a main shop in Tmn Sri Taming, Cheras. And they have two nice ADA display tank there too (last time I went there).

Current news is they are closing down the shop maybe in this week, since they already got a buyer for the whole shop. The shop will not be closing down after all, only changing ownership. But I don't think it will be more into planted aquarium anymore.

Zen setup looks very nice to me. Very calming. I wonder why this kind of setup won't get 100 top?. But one thing for sure, getting the suitable rocks, is the hardest part, IMO, it is the main focal point, anyway. Have to try a lot of rock to get the desired scapes.

Regards

NP!!!! I went there b4. Know the boss - Roger. Never heard of he is closing down the shop. I know he is quite good in Marine. But planted are done by ADA agent.

That area....mostly china ah pek. They willing to spend thousand n thousand in arowana or koi or gold fish in bare tank. But lazy to change water or trimming the plants. that's why planted tank is not so popular over there.

let me give him a call....

Hi,

Last time I heard Roger is no longer with NP. Anyway, this is their branch shop. The main shop in Cheras is still open. I wish they have a good and prosperous business in the future though.

Hi,

I am almost fainted today when I saw the Zen aquascaped tank planted with some stem plants by the new owner of the LFS, ruining the overall looks of the tank!!..

By the way, the NP's submission to ADA 2006 is by the name 'CHANG WENG SEONG' which is in 496 place, I believe. I am not sure though if it is this Zen tank.

Regards

Hi,

Finally the E. Cinereum is producing antenna as shown in the picture below

The base of this plant is currently shrinking, from my experience, this is normal..soon there will be a lot of baby plants come out from the base.

Lobelia cardinalis 'small form', I am not sure if it is the 'small form' as thought before, as this plant grows quite tall (around 6-8 inches), producing a lot of sideshoots. I have been cutting those sideshoots and replant them to get more plants!.

For months, I have been looking to id this plant. At first, I thought the plant is some sort of Crypt plant. With no information to go on, I googled using 'rosette aquatic plant' keyword knowing it is rosette plant. After a few hundred sites, finally found this http://www.pets-warehouse.com/plants/plantpic55.htm site. Amazingly the emersed plant when I bought it looks exactly like this Rorippa Aquaticas.

This is the submersed plant in my tank currently. Although found out that the plant does require alkaline water to flourish, it is doing great in my soft water tank.

Meanwhile, this is alone Garra Falavtra in my tank. Active fish, no jumping so far.

hi kchoo,

Nice to meet you and thank you for the PL-L. I am staying in Setiawangsa. From the nearby LFS businees card posted above, follow Jalan Setiawangsa 3, until you reached a roundabout, on the left is where I live. And you are welcome to visit anytime, just call me first...

Regards
