Correct me if u done it in a faster time....
Well the water filter rated at 1 liter/min at water pressure 12 psi. Water pressure applicable is 12-45psi. Since my tap water pressure quite high, took less than 1 hour to do 40-50% water change weekly. Of course, I clean the ceramic filter cartrigde before that. See more FAQ about this water filter. By the way this water filter is using only 3 filter cartridges not like other model which using 6 filter cartridges. I could imagine how slow that water filter model. I do not have the exprience using an RO unit, but it will be a lot slower, I think, since using some kind of membrane.

I know the product is not 100% perfect, but what other alternatives I have. Either that or keep losing fish. Also using this filter is useless, IME, which by the way "berlambak" at your nearest Carrefour.

I don't know about that, but you can see this under "Make your fish feel at home". Does not looks like marine fish to me.

Best Regards

The kribs are well behaved in this tank. If they were to chew up the glosso, I would notice chewed glosso leafs...and I am on constant look out, but my glosso seems fine. Are you sure it is not something else chewing up your glosso? And yeah counted my rummy nose today, none missing either.

The statement below by "Achilles Tang" in the link provided, explains a lot, IMO :
"They probably took some time to acclimatize the SW livestock to lower sg... and increase the salinity of the FW water by adding salt. Both SW and FW fishes can adapt"

It is not just the Diamond filtered water.

Best Regards

But the thing is possible true, maybe the water is good for our fauna, but is it good towards the flora?? Possible yes to ur opinion but still, I'll go to RO than diamond water (due to additional mineral from the filter possible not good to flora) as RO water is without anything in it......maybe the strong clorin still there...hahahahaha

But as for human, if we are used to drink such clean water all the time, pls don ever go to mamak store anymore for teh tarik....hahahhah......scare u'll cannot tahan outside dirty water liao.....hahahahaha.....then kena...LAU SAI.....hahahahaaha.

hi medowance,

It is not quite the same to compare RO with this Diamond filtered water. The minerals still there, and up until now, no solid proof it is harmful to flora either, since the additional minerals comes from natural minerals stones. At least it removes rust, heavy metals, chemicals etc. Yeah I would like to use RO too, but considering the cost, the efficiency, slow production time, I still prefer Diamond filtered water. About the chlorine, done the test, found non detectable level in filtered water. Saves money on waer conditioner/anti chlroine.

Bottomline is, it works fine for me. Bad marketing does not meant it is a bad product.

Some mamak restaurant already installed some kind of water filter as my nearest mamak restaurant here.

Best Regards
