I'm curious if it stays and grow underwater...I was luckily enough and thankful to receive a bunch from friends...tried some on a branch...see some pearling like how my bolbitis do.

I have to agree with some forumers on another forum...the leaf structure doesn't look like bolbitis to me. Then again, I'm not a plant expert.

RM150 for a rare collection of plants is worth every single penny or at least in my book.
fully agreee with you. when it comes to rare collection like plants and fishes, money will be put aside. availability is second to none

Here is the close up pic. Lucky i got a bunch frm a friend also. It is same with the one from Han Yang. Emersed form. Trying to grow it submersed with 23C, 150W MH n CO2.

I got it years ago...but was tried with the water without CO2, low lighting n temp was 29-30C. Can't live long...3-4months n turned brown.

had a good look yesterday at ada office's small nano tank and i saw it's similar.
fellas there say it's similar base on the nodes at the tips of the fronds.
they say it's been in there for months... and with new leaves formed... slowly though.
and the submersed from look skinnier...yay!

Stan,

I was reserving my comment where other forum said they doubt that it will survive in planted tank. Now it does grow submerge.

Bolbitis or not it doesn't matters now, what matters is that they look great.

Somehow when i look at DOm's, it looks similar but there seem to be some subtle difference between his and mine. I notice mine have this black dots that line the leave on the edges not like dom's where it is quite monotonous.
