I read a pamphlet from dennerle. The pamphlet say feed bloodworm can cause algae? Got such thing ah? Or is it old grandfather's story?

Good question....but i have no good answer for u ...simply coz i myself cant be sure what its true name ...i know its Marsilea, but marsilea what?...could be marsilea hirsuta, or minuta or quadrifolia. the thing about marsilea is when they are in the transitional period, they all look like glosso...in single leaf stem.only after they had fully develop can we tell the different species....and to name my plant now would only be inviting fire from the sifus here...but then i dont suppose they too can tell the difference...

this is M.minuta

Quadrifolia

this is M.hirsuta in emerge form....this one is from Bandung RI

Grandfather story or not ..i also dont know ...but not all grandfather story are tales...there are some truth in most.
in one of my planted tank i have 100 cardinals...i feed them once a week.
hehehe...save cost la.
then again i have seen tanks with plenty of fish , the owner feed like crazy but no algae, while other tanks with no fish yet algae is having a Woodstock party there...the story is uneaten food will surely encourage algae.

hahaha...if i go Penang ..surely i wont go FS la...spend more time at makan stores......"Tau kay...lu suah teng chui lai a ah...chiyak lai chiyak ki chiyak beh pa a...e yau kuwe"

in penang i usually go to private breeders house to tok kok one la...and they dun hav plants one lo....

ah champion u..... use plain gravel can plant glosso liao, good ma like that.

JBL????
Suppose to be good coz its a german product...but after all these years i never heard the planting sifus recommand this product....and they put JBL brand under "MM YUNG TUCK" category.....but then the price is cheap la...basic long term fert is only rm35 for 5 kg...the cheapest around.
i also got use la.... so far no complaints lo....BOLEH PAKAI

Beach Sand?....bro...dun la...i try this before...Tak Boleh pakei..and then even if the plants grow ...after one year like that...become busuk one.maybe its too compact.

better use the one Dom recommand ..what the name ..."Lapis sand". this one i check liao this afternoon...colour looks like long term fert...not too fine or too coarse. Price 50 sen per kilo. clean with water once can pakai liao.

no wonder DOM go thru the trouble to pakat and curi this sand...
this sand i must try...save a lot of money ler
