Yes, I have been wondering about that too. Great diy "PMDD" root feeder tips.

Best Regards

I would like to try the Bacter Ball though, to see it for myself the effect, but I already got some Bacter 100, not sure about using it, although ADA did recommend it to be applied to aquarium water when ‘necessary’. Last time use it under the ADA soil. I have been using that Green Bacter after all this time.

And one more question, if I may, what do you think about ADA Penac-W?..Not enough information around about this product (or I am not looking hard enough), but from what I can gather, it contains some Ca, Mg, Si, Fe etc..is it some sort of micro nutrients too?

Used Penac-P under the ADA soil during the initial setup of my tank (just following what a guy at my nearby LFS told, blur blur, that time, “one set la...senang kira”, the guy said....”errrr ok la!” I replied.. )

Thanks

Hi Nas,

For new setups they mix some penac w and bacter 100 and shake in mineral water bottle to mix evenly and then dump into aquarium on top of putting bacter balls in the filter. As the mix is milky, i think the b balls are made to counter this aspect.
So one is instant gratification and one is slow release.

Penac W...
is i have the right to remain silent...

Penac P is indeed used under the Powersoil for initial setups and PW is for maintenance.
Good for 6ft tank setup where you can use the whole Penac P bottle in one go.

Regards

Stan

when you sell something, you are endorsing product.

by osmosis refers to more subtle way of selling.

Hi,

Thank you standoyo for the info.

Anyway I am able to buy several spoons of Penac W, will try it with Bacter 100 later on this weekend. I am thinking of mixing 2 spoons of Bacter 100 with 2 spoons of Penac W in a small bottle, and dump it into the tank right after WC. Will see if its any good.

Thank You

Best Regards
