ggming,

nice tank you have there? self-claimed powersand? What is that actually? If it is good, i wanna try also if it is very fertilized, i think it should be fully covered under the amazonia oh. haha you should have wait for your another bag of amazonia before fill in with water. and i see you are using overhead trickle box ah, not very good for planted tank because can cause heavy loss of co2 oh.

Your driftwood is nice and has a lots of potential. faster go get your amazonia and fill the tank up!

Nice shrimp tank, driftwood also but light is too dark for my liking, probably you need more light after this. Hey...I am using the similar pumice or zeowit pebbles in my new tank's filter. Took them from my main tank.

Strange, my small(14") tank with (don't laugh!!!) washed ADA amazonia powder form cleared up after 2 hours on the same day. Water very clear now....Hohohohoho....Am using liberty/eheim hang on filter with tank water level set to the max and slow filter rate...

Btw, I experimented with 1 teaspoon (full) of enzybac. Maybe tonite or tomoro add 1 piece of shrimp to test.

That is called Pumice. Kind of ugly if not all covered by the soil.
