hi Isaac,

lily pipe is connected to outlet from the canister filter. a hob filter is your best bet unless you can get a nice small canister to suit your needs.

co2 diffusor you can use normal glass diffusor. buy one standby for soaking when it clogs. it's better than the wooden ones.
glass looks nicer.

Thanks for the feedback.

I am using liberty/eheim HOB filter with flow rate set to slow with ceramic diffusor. Somehow, with the bubbles I am seeing, I don't think it's that effective. Might try a finer diffusor that produces very small bubbles.
