Have anyone seen Vallisneria nana locally?
Dear members,
I saw this plant(vallisneria nana) in some pictures(Oliver's tank) as below and I'm wondering if it's available locally, seems to be a good scaping plant. http://mishilo.image.pbase.com/o4/11...icularia16.jpg http://k43.pbase.com/o4/11/259611/1/...icularia07.jpg Do let me know if you've seen it. ya..saw this in seremban lfs. kind of short. i got the emersed form which just less than 6cm tall. if providing with good lighting n co2. it will grow like that. and wont be so long like your previous vallis.
i have a small bunch in my betta tank. no co2. lighting...2-3 hours per night. growing slow n still maintain at 6-7cm...

If i'm not mistaken in Amano's 13ft tank the V. nana is about 4ft tall.
 I can't get mine to grow straight like in Oliver Knott's tank. Maybe mine different...hmmm.

Is this the same plant used by ADA 2004 1st runners-up tank?
Will look for this. From photo, it looks very thin like isoetes. btw, isoetes anyone seen lately in lfs?

Wahh....Ari very powerful, this one also can find.... 1 bunch enough lah since it's valisneria...sure run wild after some time. If cannot find this one Isoetes pun sapu lah...
