Tank #2 Update

About three weeks ago, four of my harlequin rasbora commited a suicide by jumping out of this tank, after seeing my ugly gf face hahaha...(just kidding darling)...but really for no clear reason one morning I found four dead harlequin rasbora on the floor!...I have checked all water parameters and all seem fine..

Anyway, I decided to keep Cardinal tetra this time. So I bought ten. Acclimated them slowly, for about an hour. Before that I do 1/3 water change. Over the period of one week, I lost 6. So heart breaking and puzzled at the same time...again I checked all water parameters and all seem fine.. anyway, I bought another 10 cardinal tetras. This time I do 1/3 water change and dose water conditioner according to the instruction and acclimated them for over an hour slowly. Up until, now all 14 cardinal tetras are doing fine...

Regards

Looks very well kept- magazine quality tank. Looks amazing for a small tank.

Don't like the arch though. It reminds me of municipal touch. lol. Sorry. Perhaps a branchy d/wood.

What's the plant in the right bg? Could that redden?

Hi,

Thank you guys for looking and feedbacks.

The arc is made up of two small driftwood, positioned close together and it is only Java moss. Could not find a good and suitable branchy driftwood to go along with the aquascape...still looking for it..hehe..

The background plants is Rotala rotundifolia green on the left and Ludwigia brevipes on the right (not Didiplis diandra as thought before), bought straight from a display tank at 88, Pandan Indah..so far manage to get orangish colour..lol..the ludwigia is growing in all direction!...hate it..

Tank #2 Update

Anyway, this is the tank after first time trimming of background stem plants. Hmmm..planting is one thing, maintaining the same looks after is another...

Regards

You can control the growing direction of ludwigia by trimming n your outlet flow. Btw, I have some DD bought from Singapore. Damn..not cheap. A small pot like 2-3inch tall only. Cost me more than RM10 per pot.

Will let you know once it is time to trim..
