LOL Steven, more like a bamboo forest to me. That is why I did a big trim. This is after four times trimming, each time trimmed it a bit higher than previous. So I guess, it will looks like 'sugar cane', lol.

Rotala rotundifolia sp. 'green' supposed to be draping under bright light, I think after 14 months, my PLL not as bright as back then. Even the Rotala rotundifolia on the right supposed to be 'red', but green instead, LOL.

Regards

A newly rescaped tank (clickable) a week ago.

Pregnant CRS?

Can see the belly, interesting to see the 'fanning'

A quick get away, after noticing me poking around!, LOL

Anyway, found out, first time pregnancy, usually the survival rate is not good, LOL

hi Nash ..hope you still having the planted tank bug.
it seems like your tanks are been renovated on a monthly basis...guess you have your own reasons for that.
if you could recall when you showed the photo of your first tank several months back , nice plants growing well on ADA soil etc etc...i did told you whats gonna happen in a few months especially with Stellatas, well i cant blame you for not believing what i said back then.
i have always advice planters not to start off with expensive submerse plants planted in close formation for this reason...they wont last long.
now you have gone thru this...i hope will not repeat the mistake of having an "instant" beautifull planted tank.

with a year long experience in your pocket now...guess you are more caution in spending big money on plants, well its a learning experience, we all go thru that. the last time you had some sucess with the macranda...why dont you try doing that again..it would be a test actually to see how far and how much experience you have gain.
its time to put riccias, ferns and mosses behind and go foward to a higher level. trust me...you have what it takes to be sucessfull...but of course you need to learn to hands off your tank...no renovations for at least 6 months. hahaha
