Good to see some improvements in your layout. I'm not too fond of the riccia lined up in a straight manner. It looks stiff and artificial. I presume it's riccia tied to a wiremesh? Perhaps rotate the mesh so from the front, the lawn of riccia looks more slanted and less unnatural... somewhat like a kampung pathway... keep it up

Thanks Stan, I like the way you did it on the picture to show me, but if you can put in some text in the picture would be more clearer to me....

"HC", is it Hygrophila corymbosa?

Actually the red plants in the lfs has started dried off a bit, so I did not buy too many of it, and cut away the dried leaves. These are the balance I have , may be plant it for a short period wait until it grows up, then move it to as background.

Not sure it will suit your plans but the wood pieces are rearranged a bit.
IMHO you need agreat deal more rocks[bigger and different sizes] and more stem plants. No vallis. IMHO not suitable for smallish tanks. The S subulata also has no place in the layout. A bit of an overhaul there.
Crypt you can move to the back. Take out the windelov/narrow leaf ferns. An additional group of stem plants for the back.
Try to choose some that are not so stiff straight. That really stifles flow.
You mean the drift woods move a bit to the front? Mm....do you mean the S. Subulata taking away too? Why the narrow leaf fern not suitable in the tank?

Yes, Is Rotala, but not too sure about the species, because the "farmer" plant in on the ground and not in the water, my local lfs told me. No Ludwigia in my tank, what I have are....Hygrophila polysperma(newly planted at the back, still hiding), Proserpinaca palustris, Bacopa caroliniana, Cryptocoryne beckettii 'petchii', Blyxa japonica, Nuphar japonica, Sagittaria subulatta, Vallisneria tortifolia, Moss, Micossorium preropus 'Windelov' and Riccia fluitans

Still looking for Pogostemon helferi, Fessiden and Tonina fluviatilis to replace some other plants......any idea about it?

Actually I wanna to make the Riccia looks like uphill pathway feel, but failed to do it. Well, I will rescape it next time........

Need some comment from Stan, because I recall that you had discussed the Golden section in other forum. I have drawn out the section line in my aquarium, is that correct way to do it for my aquascaping? If okie, then I will base on thise drawing to start with....

Hi Jason,

Here's some modification with GS in mind and some details. I've moved the road a bit to fit the GS.

You could still keep the windelov but i think your tank is too small for narrow leaf JF. It grows to 1 ft long. Again a few strands here and there seems like a mistake.

Regards

Stan

Well, after stand showed to me about the Golden section/ratio, I have taken few pictures of ADA tank that got it from other website. tried to figure out the GS, something really interesting that when I looked at the picture..... ......I think the GS is depends on the person's creativity, I love that tank very much after drawn some lines on it....

For the time being, I need to wait my new plants to grow the roots and get healthy before I am going to shift it around.....and at the same time study more about the GS to make it a better perspective.
