Congrats Jason, looks very nice. I like the driftwood arrangement, you might want to tie a little more moss.

Did you change the white balance setting? It's a warmer this time compared to your previous pix.

As for the hair algae, you can use a used toothbrush. comes off easily. I do this 5 minutes everyweek.

Thx stan, the driftwood looks great if expose a little bit....I am not worry about the moss, it will grow fast to cover another 30~40%.
I think the stubborn black hair algae need to pluck it instead of using toothbrush........

Black hair algae? You mean Black Brush Algae right? I am also having this problem. At first, when the plants have not fully grown, my water circulation (with CO2) is good, then when some of my plants get bery compact and bushy, water flow is impeded and that's the areas that BBA grow. Time for some hacking job IMHO.

You should always keep a record of how you trim and the result later. So next time you know how to achieve certain look.

Hi all, I am just trimmed and rescape a bit of my aquatic tank......may be this time I would like to share a bit of my layout concept, both sides with my existing moss, the front portion is growing with the Sagittaria subulata and just made the center part with lots of broken/falling rocks, and want some little plants growth between the rocks. I found that the background plants too many will cause the whole tank like too crowded, may be all these background plants is time to change, any suggestion from the experts? Actually I want to put in the Eriocaulon Cinereum, any idea where to put it? Not really know about this species, If who has keep it before, please share with me about you experience for E. cinereum. Thank you very much.
