The East Aqua Nano Tank Aquacaping Contest for year 2007 is started. For those who is interest to join the contest or just wanted to get a tank set. Please proceed to EA in Ikano and Cheras branches.

1) This contest is open for public.
2) No age limit.
3) To be eligible for the contest. You need to register your details and purchase an official nano tank kit for RM148 (Usual price is RM176.80) from East Aqua Studios only.
4) Only the official nano tank will be accepted as an entry. (Don't tear off the Ocean Free sticker.)
5) Personal decorative materials ie; rocks, plants and woods are permitted for aesthetic purpose of the entry.
6) Outstation participants please contact MAC committees for assistance.

The nano tank set included:
1 30cm x 25cm x 30cm Ocean Free tank.
1 2 x 9W PL Ocean Free light
1 Ocean Hang on filter
1 sample pack of fish pellet + water condition + bacteria starter kit, etc from Sera.
3L of ADA regular size soil

Please submit your nano tank on Saturday 20th January 2007 (10am-9pm) at East Aqua in Ikano Power Center in preparation for Contest Event on Sunday 21st January 2007. Late entry will not be entertained.
1 gift voucher worth RM50 valid at East Aqua Studios for 3 months will be given to every entry that participate.

1 GEX CO2 set + Tweezer set + Fertilizer packs + 8kg soil
1 AA hamper

Cool! How about other stuff such as CO2, additional lighting etc... is it allowed?

You can use whatever you want when you brought back home. As long as you bring it back for the competition. Please remember, only this ocean free tank is eligible. Don't tear off the sticker.

Is one person limited to one entry?

You are allow to submit many entries as you want. But you are eligible to win 1 prize only. And only the official nano tank set which you bought from EA are allow to enter the competition.

I got a kit last weekend. They had lots of stock then. Need to change the light (it smells like something is burning after being switched on for a while) and the HOB filter (it leaks!). Anyone have similar problems?

you may ask for a change if it leaks... if you are going there tomorrow, do bring the filter along and i'll try to ask for an exchange...
