no. it wont.

water plants just like a tree or any plants on the land. They need to rest at nite. and no CO2 needed at nite. So that, they can release the osygen.

you can check with 88...or other planted tank experts. i believe they do turn off the CO2 when the lights are off too.

Nutrafin and DIY CO2 running 24 hours till finish...sometime, heavy CO2 will kill yr fish.

yes.. one drawback on DIY CO2... cannot be turn off at night...

But the last time my ricca bubbles a lot... should have enough reverse O2 at night to keep the fishes and plants breathing at night...

Once...I overhead one customer at 88 marine..this one is darn funny... he got a 3 ft tank with 100+ tetras...( in my opinion it is a little bit over crowded..) ..

what he did was have 2 timers.. one for the lights and another when the lights goes off.. the air pump turns on to pump O2/air into the tank...

Or else a few tetra floats the next morning... and the shop ppl told him 100+ tetra on a 3 ft tank... no problem...

ya...i heard someone open the air pump and supply the air to tank. it sound funny.

but for me...i think 100+ tetra for 3ft tank just fine. it wont get over crowed. coz my 4ft already over 150 pieces of fish.
