I am planning on visiting KL second week of Aug. I only visited a few stores during my previous visits (WTF, 88 next next i think Fajr mall, and another store). I would like to visit other LFS for plants, weeping moss and trace mix. I will be staying in the near the twin towers area. anyone can please update me on where I can go.
PS any idea how I can take with me shrimps back home. it is a long flight (saudi about 8 hours

Would storing them in 4degrees C water to make them hibernate help? Just a suggestion.

what you should do is...try not to put too many shrimps in a bag. get the person who sold them to you to use a bigger bag, fill with actived carbon and ammonia chips. shrimps usually would foul the water faster than fishes,thats why carbon / ammonia chips are needed. place the bag into a foam box, with a piece of dry ice wrapped with newspaper, better if you can get saw dust. seal the box to keep the inside of the box cool. do not use tranquilizers...for it would kill the shrimps outright.
if your fight is 8 hours, then the total time should be over 18 hours, taken into account the time they were pack, journey to the airport, the customs, the wait, the flight, landing , clearing, and the journey back to your home.
the bad news is...the longest period i have tried using this method is 15 hours, well, maybe you could get lucky..ha

Remember to put in some mosses. Normally 1 plastic bag with oxygen and 5 shrimps only.

We have a new lfs named Slippery Little Sucker located in Ara Damansara. It is quite far away from KLCC (twin tower). Cab is the only transport to bring you there.

went today to 88marine. bought a few things, but I was not happy with the prices and selection of products. my wife says selection is okay, but I have more experience now and i am demanding better things than when i started the hoppy about 3 years ago. lol
