Hi, i see some of ur posts where you all collect plants/moss/fish from rivers or so on. Are there these places in Penang, and if so.. where are they and are there any ettiquetes?(no collecting more than x,only collect this/that, etc.)

Hi, welcome to fishforum. Penang island, a very nice place for both freshwater and marine tank player. Here we got lots of river, hills and sea, so alot of live stock and plants.

Well, for i personally, I like to go around for netting, both marine and freshwater, collect wild plants. Seem like some places, here down in penang island, still got fish, shrimp and plants. But not all will survive as the environment its different.

If you go to mainland, there its more. So, take sometime to explore around, you will be amaze with wat you will find.

Well, thanks but I'm just a kid.Could you point out a good place to 'hunt' these wild stuff? An address? Something like that would be very VERY musch appreciated.

I would suggest you go around to the nearest river to have a look. But remember to bring someone, an adult with you. Its better to take some safety action... Happy hunting!

well i'm about 16 (this year).

As for where in Penang I hail from, it is Jelutong /Georgetown area ( near CGL/PFS area)
