There's a shop in Butterworth that sold me a Red arowana abour 17cm at RM1,900. I dunno whether u call it expensive or cheap.
I can send u the video if you're interested and I'll ask my dad about the shops name if you want.

bare in mind! there is no cheap red arowana for sale in this world! since the breed is very limited. the cheapest will be RM9000 for 4 inches length. when it turns to become 12 inches, price RM40,000. this only can get in the indonesia. it is called kalimantan red.

the buterworth arowana is not a red arowana. its look red when it is small. but when big time, it turns to purple colour. the only red part is it's tail only. thats called red tail gold (RTG) arowana. it is very cheap in KL and have prenty there. selling for about rm300 for 3 inches.

so, dun be fool by the fish shop. [/img]

Oh.. quite agree with u.
Sometimes price defines the quality.

Can you guys pls trying taking a picture of an arowana with the flash on and the flash off? Compare it and to your surprise the flash off looks more real while the flash on looks like the second picture with only gold colour.. Try it and let me know.

Can I have ur email so I can email u the map of the shop?
