Dear All,
The name Selama caught my curiosity. I am from somewhere around there. Just had a call from my friend asking if I am interested to buy wild Arowana caught from Bagan Samat. Asking price is $3,000/=. I didn't asked about the size as I suppose they are babies and juvenile fish. I was told Bagan Samat's wild arowana is of superior quality. Too bad, although I like arowana, I have not had any knowledge about the latest trend. Can't even tell between a red arowana and a glod arowana. If you are keen, I can find out the contact number of this middle man. He is a local there and he routinely deal with the kampong people trading food fish with them. Cheers! BT Lee |

Just for your info, these two aro farm were situated in Bukit Merah/Bagan Samak area. Might want to check it out.
1. http://www.blcarowana.com.my/index.html 2. http://www.pparowanafarm.com/main.htm I contact blc arowana and they say that they have one showroom in Bukit Mertajam for hobbyist. Their farm in Bukit Merah is unaccessible to public viewing. Maybe if you could make an appointment, they will allow you to enter. But then individual purchase is not entertain. Usually bulk orders. But worth a try. |
