Default I need advice please

I have a chili red aros 9” in a tank 5x2x2 and I would like to put another aros if it is possible. I’ll like to know if they’ll not fight or kill each other. Cause once I’ve try to put two Jardini together but one killed the other.

Hello Maurice.

I had a golden arowana, once i put some silver arowana to be her mate, they do fight at first specialy if the other aro's was smaller than the other one, just try to put them during sundown, then try to off the light off on your aquarium or maybe just a little light on... base on my experience this would be the best way putting some new mate to my aro's, and hoping this would work for you to...

Stone is right
unless you have 2 aquarium just in case once you see that they fight, you can separate it

coz I'm trying to put 2 silver in aquarium
couple weeks later the other 1 is gone by half, got eaten by the other

It is possible to keep those arowanas together but proper care is required to separate them in case serious fighting starts.

I have 2 yellow tails, 1 banjar red, and 2 silvers in my 4ft tank.

Personally, I suggest better don't.
I mix 2 aros 2gather b4. A 9" and a 12"...both red. I don't intentionally mix them 2gahter. I kept both red in a 5X2X2, and separate them with a partition. 1 day, the small one somehow jumps over and join the big one. Surprisingly, they didn't fight, so I remove the partition and let it be.
Why I say better not to mix them is because, I've been keeping aro for 4 - 5 years, and several attempt I've tried, all fail and they end up fighting with tails torn, some seriously injured. There's only one successful attempt, and that is the one I just told you, which is not my intention. You can try mixing them when they are small and introduce them into the same tank at the same time, but a well established aro...a lot of time, they will end up fighting with the newly introduce aro.
Jardini die nvm, silver die oso nvm, but if a red die, sakit hati lo...
(But better all don't die la, cheep oso satu nyawa ma.. )
