Hi,
i am a newbie for arowana. Just bought an infant pearl of 12 cm and kept it in a 4 ft aquarium. Just read about steps to adhere to for keeping water quality and of course the changing of water at 20% weekly is a must. Kinda hard to clean the aquarium water weekly as the aquarium is located in the living room. Any suggestions- how about adding "matter" to treat the water such as geo-liquid, bentonite clay, probiotiics etc-Would this help in keeping the water in pristine conditions.

Default Weekly Water Changing

Hi Mattloui

Regarding the weekly water changing, you don't have to do it weekly. You can apply Filter-Aid for treating the water. It takes about 1 hour to clear cloudy water into clear water. You can apply for 3 times before you do a water change. Normally 3 times is approximately 11/2 months. The reason we recommend a water change after the 3rd time is to reduce the level of nitrite and Ammonia in the water.

If you need this product you can contact us at cosmos@cosmos.com.sg.

We also have other products for fish diseases. We do not use any Antibiotics or hazardous chemicals for treating fish diseases. You can visit our webpage at www.cosmos.com.sg

Regards

Harold
