1.5K Budget for new Dragon

Need some advice from u guys what type of aro i should get for this amount of budget? where can i get it? and would my old 4 x 2 x 2 which currently my test bed with one silver aro be enough for my new aro?

i dont mind to up the budget 2-300 more but prefer not to so that i can get a better filteration system for the aquarium....

Get a HBRTG. RM1000-1200+
Get rid of the Silver and use the old tank to save cost.
No need to get expensive cannister filter. Overhead is OK with 20-30% water change weekly.

anyway where can i get a HBRTG for that price......some LFS in my area are selling 5 inch gold fer 1800.......expensive huh......and red for 3000......tag and cert the red is but it didnt show much redness......izit 1.5 or what?......

anyway....i would prefer XBG ........anywhere i can find this fish?

not sure you can get the xback for that amount. usually they are in the red region. but if you are lucky, just inform me ok?

try searching xian leng or other popular arowana breeder. for good quality aros with cert.

Hi there , u can get good quality of HB from XLSA or there's one small shop in taman sentosa old klang road.

1 advice. If you want xback and to spend like 2000+ rm, i suggest you to search from a reputable breeder who have their own farms like xian leng. Don't go around small local lfs. Even if they claim the fish got cert and stuff. Bear in mind that cert can be create. So be careful. The fish might come from a backyard breeder.

You can't really see the glow and shinness on less than 6 inches fish unless it is really a standout fish.

I'd say you got the pet shop in ss2
they sell several aro's

you can get 2nd grade red 6" for 380
yellow 600 - 800 around 10 - 12"
Super Red for 2000 ( the cheapest ) and above
they also have gold and RTG but I forgot the prize
